
I was gifted this really lovely Speyside single malt. This is salty and clean and really tasty neat. I also picked up some Creme de Cassis from Noorbro Handlen when I was on holiday. And today I’ve used them both in a Bitter Jean cocktail I found on Difford’s. The cocktail is bitter and smoky, and I like it.
- 60 ml Speyside single malt
- 10 ml Islay single malt
- 15 ml Creme de Cassis
- 22.5 aged sweet vermouth
- 8 dashes Angostura bitters
Stir over ice. Strain into chilled glass. Garnish with some maraschino cherries.
